Bucher Municipal is a leading global manufacturer of municipal vehicles for efficient cleaning of public and private traffic areas. The product range includes compact and truck mounted sweepers, sewer cleaning vehicles, winter maintenance equipment, refuse collection vehicles and digital services. At our site in Niederwenigen, vehicles are developed and distributed all over the world.

We are looking for an experienced (SENIOR) FRONTEND DEVELOPER (all genders) for React in TypeScript, with a passion for design and belief that a good UI is the key to success. In this position, you will be working on the development of an innovative IoT/e-commerce platform for municipal vehicles and provide technical leadership for the frontend. The project is just starting on a complete greenfield and offers you to be part of the team and help shape the platform from the beginning.

Place of work will be either Switzerland (Niederweningen) or UK (Dorking) with the possibility to work remotely.

Your main responsibilities

• Development of an appealing user interface as responsive design for a modern IoT / e-commerce platform for municipal vehicles.
  


• Work on the entire software development process incl. design, implementation and testing
  


• Collaboration with the other developers to ensure the application meets the customer's requirements and functions at the highest level
  


• Integration of APIs and other systems into the application
  


• Document the codes to facilitate the understanding and maintenance of the software
  

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science (higher education) or a comparable education
  


• Sound knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  


• Experience as frontend lead developer in technical management and coordination of internal or external developers
  


• Proven experience in developing React applications with TypeScript in various projects e.g. at an IT service provider
  


• Passion for design and UI development
  


• Good understanding of agile development methods and experience in applying them
  


• Ability to work in an international team
  


• Languages English and German
