To strengthen our Design & Features Integration team within our Research & Development department we are looking for a
Design Project Manager
ROLE:
Ensure and facilitate an optimal implementation of SICPA’s solutions and technologies by customers, through the following poles of activities:
Design & prototyping
• Design and creation of printed security features based on technical guidelines and requirements.
• Production of tailored design proposals integrating SICPA’s solutions for different markets and applications.
• Take part in multidisciplinary technology-driven research projects to propose innovative solutions, meeting various aesthetical, technical, and functional parameters.
• Participate in the production of laboratory hand-crafted prototypes.
Presentations & relationship management
• Develop and create presentations in close collaboration with our Marketing specialists, including clear messaging and visual contents creation, while respecting established corporate templates.
• Give presentations in public in front of our customers, partners or during industry conferences.
• Support, train and coach customers and external partners about the best design guidelines and best practices to implement our solutions.
• Organise and facilitate technology workshops and seminars (i.e. on-site and remotely) to be held with customers and designers, in collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.
• Maintain and develop relationship with customers, business partners and designers.
Project management
• Management of cross-cultural design projects, including planning, review meetings, visit reports, follow-up actions, etc.
• Assist in the administrative tasks of the team, including projects portfolio management and tasks prioritisation, through our IT platforms.
• Cross-divisional coordination with various stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, R&D and Delivery departments.
• Solve challenges and tackle issues in a diplomatic way, within complex environments involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
PROFILE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or technology-centric environment.
• Proven track record in product design or graphic design and at ease with prepress tasks, printing processes and colour management.
• Creative and innovation-driven mindset, while having a good attention to details.
• Excellent communicator and public speaker, with natural ability to adapt to the audience and context while showing interest for customers’ needs and expectations.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with related tools and software.
• Ability to follow multiple projects simultaneously; problem-solver who has a strong sense of priority.
• Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Project Management tools; PowerBI a plus.
• Professional expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro.
• Fluency in English and good command of French, other languages are a strong asset.
