About the job
The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in Zurich and at the same time the district capital in the Limmattal with around 28,000 inhabitants.
We are looking for a
Your tasks
- With an access as low-threshold as possible for an administration as well as quick support and advice, we ensure that the situation of our clients stabilizes and that they are supported in their need for a financially independent life. Our main task is the correct subsistence security by checking, assessing, and defining or enforcing the corresponding rules for social assistance entitlement. At the same time, we advise the clients to help them improve their current situation. All this is done through conversations and a lot of administrative work. If longer financial support is expected, we transfer case management to the social counseling team.
Your profile
- We wish for a likeable social worker with a positive attitude and a strong identification with our methodological principles. We also want someone with a quick grasp as well as an efficient, high-quality working style and good administrative skills. If you have a diploma from a school of social work, professional experience in social assistance, and experience in the social insurance sector, you belong to our preferred candidates.
