Within the framework of the Vaud police organization (OPV), the Conference of Directors of Vaud Municipal Police (CDPV) and the Society of Officers of Vaud Municipal Police (SOPV) represent, at the political, strategic and operational levels, the 9 Vaud municipal and inter-municipal police forces serving 490,000 inhabitants. To assist the Secretary General within their joint headquarters and actively participate in the development projects of the Vaud security system, they are offering the position of:
Deputy Secretary General CDPV-SOPV (80%) - Project Manager
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the management and administration of the affairs of the CDPV and SOPV.
- Coordinate information, requests, deadlines and needs between institutional partners.
- Ensure the management and/or coordination of files, notably related to recruitment and continuing education of police officers.
- Lead, by mandate, projects on behalf of the CDPV or SOPV within the framework of the municipal police and/or the Vaud police organization. Prepare necessary documents and files for decision-making; write reports; participate in working groups; lead working sessions.
- Guarantee the preparation and administrative follow-up of the monthly meetings of political and strategic bodies (correspondence, reports and taking minutes).
- Participate in communication and representation activities, as well as in the implementation and monitoring of management tools.
- Your profile:
- Higher education in management and/or proven professional experience in the administrative field.
- Additional and/or continuing education in project management.
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and/or in complex organizations.
- Strong ability to understand, structure and grasp issues.
- Excellent command of the French language; German and English are an asset.
- Excellent writing skills and mastery of common IT tools.
