Industrialisation Engineer

In order to implement, deploy & maintain a clear product, documentation and drawings structure for the e-Transport products covering road, off - highway, rail and marine products we are looking for an

This job role is acting as interface between engineering and production and has strong know - how of product functionality and characteristics.

Role & Responsibilities:

Product structure management (35%)

  • Manages Part numbering, Sub assembly numbering, Product numbering, Drawing numbering and revisions in our ERP (Navision)and other general databases.
  • Creates, updatesand manages BOM lists in co-operation with the design engineer

Customer documentation management (30%)

  • Customer document co-ordination.
  • Development of documents together with designers and subcontractors

Component engineering (35%)

  • Searches new engineering components: fuses, switches,sensors, cooling, heating devices, other electrical components
  • Evaluates & validates sample components.
  • Adding new approved components to our CAD tools(E3 and Solidworks)

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous production or product engineer experience –minimum 5 years
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project/program management certification preferred.

Demonstrated Skills & Behaviors:

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize;
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and adjust to changing priorities and needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour;
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented collaborative environment;
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • English: fluently spoken and written, French and/or German are a plus
