MOLECULAR PARTNERS - Group Leader / Translational Lead M/F

As an addition to the Translational Science team we are looking for a motivated Group Leader/Translational Lead. In this challenging role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Lead an ex vivo group and accountable for delivering translational data package on biomarker validation and MoA understanding using IHC, FACS, gene expression analaysis and tissue culture on specimens from human and other pharmacology/tox-relevant species
  • Develop and implement translational plans, including PK/PD data package and biomarker plan, to support transit of preclinical assets into early clinical development in oncology indications
  • Contribute to translational science strategy development for target engagement, pharmacodynamics, mechanism of action, and patient selection, in line with clinical development strategy
  • Manage the implementation of translational/ biomarker plan by effectively engaging scientific/technical experts in research and development colleagues including bioanalytical team
  • Effectively interface with the project team to obtain appropriate resources to deliver on biomarker goals
  • Develop and implement exploratory analysis plans for clinical biomarker data
  • Collaborate with external partners and CROs conducting studies to ensure operational success
