Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss center of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational education, research vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne, and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

The legal department handles legal matters for all locations and advises the EHB management on legal issues. We are looking for a lawyer for the Directorate division in Zollikofen or Lausanne starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Your area of responsibility

• Developing and updating the legal basis of the EHB
• Handling legal matters, especially procurement, contract, and administrative law issues
• Conducting legal clarifications and providing legal advice
• Writing opinions and reports

Your profile

• Degree in law (Master's level)
• Practical experience as a lawyer in a university or private sector environment
• Solid knowledge of public law
• High service orientation
• Excellent language skills in French and very good German skills
• Knowledge of Italian and English is desirable
