Head Partner Finance & Securities Accounting

Your tasks & responsibilities

- Heading the Partner Finance and Securities Accounting team, which provides accounting services for our fully
integrated partners and the securities accounting for the entire Leonteq group
- Act as a service provider and sparring partner for various internal and external stakeholders. You will manage the
financial statements of our fully integrated partners and need to understand the economics behind movements in Balance
Sheet and/or Income Statement
- Ensure complete, accurate and auditable accounting and month end closing
- Define and maintain accounting rules for complex financial instruments, specifically structured products and a wide
range of derivatives
- Enhance internal controls, reports, daily monitoring and analytical review procedures. Enhance documentation of
processes, workflows and training
- Initiate, execute or support various projects ranging from automation to group wide strategic initiatives such as
onboarding new partners, new product types, new offices/branches, implementation of new systems impacting accounting

Our requirements

- University degree in accounting and/or finance
- Good knowledge of financial instruments and accounting (IFRS, Swiss GAAP) in financial industry
- Experienced in leading a team
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, having a strong analytical mindset
- Experience with Sophis and/or SumX a plus
- Initiative in improving and automating processes, experience in project management and/or systems implementation is
a plus
- Team player, hands-on, result oriented, adaptable and motivated in a challenging and international work environment
- Good oral and written English skills
