PhD Degree level in the related scientific field
As a Packaging Food safety expert, you have proven scientific expertise in chemical analyses of traces with a special focus on Gas and Liquid Chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry with skills in identification of unknowns in untargeted analysis at expert level. You will be able to work specifically with state-of-the-art equipment like a LC/GC Orbitrap. You will have to understand the different aspects of packaging and/or recycling technologies of polymers (e.g mechanical, chemical and solvent based) and be well updated about the main challenges in this field. Having a past experience and global network in this field would be a plus. Basic understanding of food contact requirements and/or being able to propose innovative and highly sensitive analytical methods to ensure safety of our materials are important in this role.A day in the life of a Packaging Food safety expert
