Clinical Specialist/Account Manager in EMEA

We are looking for a Clinical Specialist/Account Manager in EMEA – preferable located in Switzerland. The main responsibility will be the clinical support to direct sales and distributors in the EMEA market. You will be working with our local teams all over Europe of 21 colleagues and with extensive travel activity mainly in Europe and locally in Switzerland you will therefore mostly be working alone. The role will involve responsibility of supporting the EMEA field sales activities. Working closely with the sales force and the distributors and thereby provide support to customers and manage the product evaluation process of our Interventional and Vascular medical devices products.

The primarily responsibilities will be to:

  • Conduct hospital in-servicing to ensure the safe and effective use of Argon products.
  • Prepare and Conduct product training for Direct sales and Distributors
  • Provide direct customer and Direct sales support for product questions.
  • Assist with/or independently manage product evaluations.
  • Support Marketing by implementing physician preference surveys.
  • Update Sales EMEA Management on concerning cases and notify them of any required follow-up.
  • Support sales with current customers and optimize customer product utilization and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all account players, including physicians, nurses, technologist and administrations.
  • Selling a portfolio of Interventional cardiovascular medical devices products to both new and existing customers.
  • Building and maintaining professional business relationships within the medical sector.
  • Developing and implementing tactical sales plans to grow new business within the territory.
  • Providing sales forecasting and compiling management reports and conducting regular market analysis.

Focused on delivering exceptional customer service the successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, selling medical devices within an operating room environment, preferably gained in the Interventional devices market. An extremely self-motivated individual the successful candidate will be a sound communicator, have excellent negotiation and presentation skills and be highly organised with effective time management skills.

Relevant clinical and sales experience and education in a related background is desirable; fluency in English is required. Fluency in other languages is an advantage. High knowledge and experience with MS Office.
