Project Manager Road Construction (Planning/Implementation)

The Cantonal Civil Engineering Office ensures the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the 750-kilometer-long cantonal road network. With your expertise and experience, you make an important contribution to preserving the value of the road infrastructure.

As part of a succession arrangement, the Civil Engineering Office / Road Construction Department is looking for a from February 1, 2026 or by agreement

• Independent management, planning, and design of road infrastructure projects (new construction/renovation and rehabilitation)
• Coordination of project implementation with authorities and planners
• Conducting tenders, clarification, and awarding of contracts
• Management and leadership of execution projects (site supervision)

• Basic training in the construction industry, preferably civil/road construction
• Further training as an engineer, project/construction manager
• Experience in planning and construction management (project management)
• Good social skills and communication abilities in dealing with authorities, planners, contractors, and employees
• Good IT skills
