Technical Leader Assembly 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, to metal and plastic components. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
This is what you can achieve:
Independent setup, commissioning, and monitoring of production processes and equipment
Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Collaboration on cross-departmental topics and projects
Support in defining and further developing processes, specifications, and test procedures
Independent setup and commissioning of standard production equipment
Continuous optimisation of internal processes to improve quality and efficiency, considering economic aspects
Technical leadership and support of production staff
Analysis and resolution of malfunctions as well as sustainable root cause analysis
Introduction and implementation of lean management methods and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
Creation and maintenance of work instructions, process documentation, and training materials
Support in the qualification and validation of production equipment and processes
Coordination and alignment with internal interfaces (e.g., engineering, quality, logistics)
Support in internal projects
Conducting training and briefings for employees
Ensuring material availability and support in production planning
Promoting an open error culture and active problem-solving within the team
Support in the digitalisation and automation of production processes
Ensuring smooth production operations in day-to-day business
You bring the following:
Professional requirements:
Completed technical training (e.g., polymechanic, automation technician, or equivalent)
Several years of experience in industrial production and plant operation
Good knowledge of process optimisation, lean/CIP, and quality assurance
Experience in commissioning equipment and in fault analysis
Very good computer skills and confident handling of common IT systems
Experience with ERP systems
Confident handling of technical documentation
Personal requirements:
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High quality awareness and sense of responsibility
Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
Teamwork skills as well as clear and purposeful communication
Confident appearance
Leadership skills:
Experience in the technical leadership of employees is an advantage
Ability to motivate employees and develop them purposefully
