Senior Manager (all genders) - Corporate Finance / M&A Advisory Health Care & Life Science

The Life Sciences & Health Care ("LSHC") M&A Lead Advisory team in Zurich consists of 10 members and is one of the most active sector teams in our M&A practice. We're looking forward to having you on board: Come boost our corporate finance skillset and LSHC industry expertise, and together we'll work across the full range of sub-sectors in the LSHC industry, including pharmaceuticals, medical technologies and devices, digital health, digital therapeutics and other healthcare services. Expect fascinating projects for top-notch clients, innovative companies that are making a real impact on the lives of patients and across society.

How you can make an impact

· Interact with clients of the Life Science and Health Care sectors and work on complex M&A transactions across the deal cycle, e.g. on a range of buy-side, sell-side and capital raising transactions

· Be the driving force behind day-to-day transaction execution and everything this involves, including preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, exit papers, valuation analysis and client communications

· Oversee valuation and financial modelling, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Leverage Buyout (LBO) analysis

· Initiate industry research for both deal origination, preparation of pitch documents and transaction analysis

· Coach other team members on both Corporate Finance practice and Industry insights - the work is challenging but rewarding, with each transaction generating new scenarios where innovative solutions are needed

Who we are looking for

· You are curious, energetic and eager to learn more about the LSHC industry, and you're good at coping in a fast-paced, challenging environment, effectively prioritizing and handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or health & sciences technology, biology, bio-engineering (incl. relevant professional experience in the LSHC industry) or related field

· Previous management / consulting experience, ideally in strategy / corporate development, M&A, private equity (incl. relevant professional experience in Mergers & Acquisitions in the LSHC industry); proficiency in financial modelling and valuation methodologies

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication (both written and spoken)
