Copper Department Raising Concerns Coordinator 60%


As the department Raising Concerns Coordinator, you will be part of the Human Capital team in the Copper Asset department. You will work closely with our senior leadership team and Group Compliance in ensuring that concerns received through Glencore’s whistleblowing programme, called Raising Concerns, are appropriately managed, investigated and tracked. The purpose of this role is to ensure appropriate governance within the copper department to manage and provide oversight of the investigation of these concerns. Copper Department Raising Concerns Coordinator 60%

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Managing, tracking, and overseeing the investigation of concerns received through the Raising Concerns Programme and assigned to the copper department for resolution. This includes engaging with relevant investigators through the copper business globally regarding their investigations and the steps required to be taken.
  • Measuring the department’s effective resolution of concerns against key performance indicators and where necessary, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in this regard
  • Ensuring that remedial actions identified in approved and finalised investigation reports are documented and tracked.
  • Maintaining solid relationships and regularly following-up in receiving material responses and updates from those involved in the resolution of concerns assigned to the copper department


 Qualifications and requirements:

  • Solid work experience in managing, coordinating and/or conducting whistleblowing investigations and dealing with the resolution of concerns on an international level / scale
  • Solid educational background, preferably in the legal field as well as a good know-how of MS Office tools
  • Excellent command of English (corporate language) and Spanish, both spoken and written (good understanding of French is considered a plus)
  • Sound experience working in an international and multicultural environment, preferably in the mining industry
