Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich-Altstetten.
In the corporate sector, the legally compliant assessment is carried out with a focus on corporate tax law. For our Services department, we are looking for suitable reinforcement from March 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your future tasks:
- Special technical and file responsibility for legally and economically significant companies in the service sector
- Examination and assessment of tax returns, annual financial statements, and rulings as well as making the corresponding assessments and responsibility for subsequent legal remedy procedures
- Coordination and implementation of assessments in the area of OECD minimum tax
- Participation in internal working groups for practice development (e.g., financial services industry, OECD minimum tax)
- Ensuring know-how transfer and supporting colleagues in the specialist area
Your profile:
- Degree in economics or law as well as completed further training in the tax field (e.g., certified tax expert or LLM Taxation)
- In-depth experience and expertise in international accounting (e.g., IFRS) and/or in the area of tax accounting are advantageous
- Convincing and engaging demeanor as well as your business fluent German and English skills
- Experienced and service-oriented personality who enjoys working in a team, takes responsibility, and actively shares knowledge
