In this newly created role, you will be part of the Sustainability Business Development team, which supports GF Piping Systems in becoming a sustainability leader. Sustainability also includes safety and the focus of this role is to further develop and support a strong safety culture within GF. You will shape our safety culture and develop and implement programs to improve performance.

Your tasks:

• Develop and support the occupational safety procedures, guidelines, and training programs
  


• Develop and support the global occupational safety projects and initiatives
  


• Prepare incident reports, ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented, and communicate lessons learned and best practices
  


• Perform internal safety audits, prepare audit reports, and verify the status of action plans/audit recommendation
  


• Support internal and external safety audits
  


• Interact and coordinate the global safety network and advise/support all Safety Officers worldwide
  


• Act as Subject Matter Expert Advisor for safety matters and contribute to programs
  


• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the area of specialty
  

Your profile:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HSE or similar, preferably an additional degree in environment
  


• At least 3 years business experience as HSE professional
  


• Knowledge of international management system standards (e.g. ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018)
  


• German and English language skills must be on a professional level
  


• Willingness to travel on business assignments (up to 50%)
  


• Well organized, responsible, and capable of working as a team player
  


• Work permit for Switzerland
