Encounter with Mentally Distressed People

In this keynote speech, you will learn about common mental illnesses and personality disorders that you might encounter during volunteer work. Afterwards, you will gain insight into the possible life situations of affected individuals and learn about the typical impacts on the relationship with "helping people." Do's and don'ts for dealing with emotional reactions in volunteer work. Case studies and experience reports from the group are expressly welcome in the discussion.
