Welcome to the Zweckverband Soziales Netz Bezirk Horgen (SNH). We support young people and adults who are in temporarily or permanently difficult life situations. With our social services, we help them develop new perspectives and participate again in social and professional life.

In March, SNH will open a learning room in the Wädenswil leisure facility on behalf of the Middle School and Vocational Training Office of the Canton of Zurich (MBA). The learning room is aimed at adults with support needs in basic skills such as reading and writing, everyday mathematics, as well as information and communication technologies. Our offer includes, among other things, free learning meetups with childcare, thematic workshops, a writing service, and an application workshop. The goal is to create an open learning and meeting space where participants can strengthen their skills and gain more confidence in everyday life.

We are looking for an open and connecting personality with strong commitment and flexibility starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement. As the head of the learning room, you are the central contact person for our learning room. You design an open learning and meeting space and take on both operational and coordinative tasks. 

What awaits you with us

• Reception of visitors including general advice and triage on site
• Support for visitors with everyday questions or questions about their learning activities
• Personnel management of learning support staff and volunteers
• Coordination of offers and communication with the various actors involved in the project
• Monitoring and reporting of all learning room offers as well as quality assurance 
• Communication and promotion of the learning room in the region 

You bring with you

• Tertiary education (FH/Uni), preferably in social work, socio-cultural animation, labor integration, adult education, youth work, or similar
• At least 5 years of professional experience with the target group basic skills
• Further training in coaching, volunteer management, or adult education is an advantage
• Experience or interest in learning support, social and digital learning, as well as community building
• Time flexibility and willingness to work evenings
