About the job

In the versatile and responsible role as Chef de Rang Room Service, the following tasks are part of your area of responsibility:

• Receiving and processing room service orders – competent and service-oriented
• Consulting and active selling of food and beverages
• Arranging and stylish presentation of orders on the tray or serving trolley
• Discreet delivery to the rooms according to our quality standards
• Clearing, clearing away and after-service – discreet and attentive
• Maintenance of serving equipment and compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Cooperation with kitchen, housekeeping and front office for a smooth process
• Fulfilling special guest requests with tact
• Supporting the F&B outlets as needed (e.g. mise en place, setting tables)

• Completed training in hotel or restaurant management or professional experience in room service of an upscale hotel
• Strong guest orientation, excellent manners and high discretion
• Very good German and English skills; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
• Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor
• High quality awareness and attention to detail
• Independent and structured way of working – even under time pressure
• Teamwork, resilience and flexibility (shift work, weekend work)
