The Kantonsschule Zürich Nord, as the largest secondary school in the canton of Zurich, is located in Zurich and offers the students of the region a comprehensive secondary school program with a long gymnasium, a short gymnasium, and a specialized secondary school on one campus. Our school has around 2,200 students, 300 teachers, and 50 central services staff. The school management consists of 8 principals and one deputy as part of the extended school management. From January 12, 2026 (limited until May 15, 2026), we are looking for a responsible and independent IT supporter for our IT department as a deputy for one of our supporters who is attending military service.
Your tasks
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the technical and educational digital services at Kantonsschule Zürich Nord
- First and second level support for the school's Windows and macOS devices
- First level support for the BYOD devices of the school community
- Deployment of the school's Windows and macOS clients
- Support, operation, and maintenance of multimedia devices (projectors, visualizers, audio) and printers
- Coordination of orders, repairs, and warranties in the hardware area
- Planning and reservation of IT resources in the area of recurring projects
- Documentation of all processes in the area of responsibility
- Management of the IT lending system
Your profile
You are an ICT specialist, computer scientist, or media technician and have experience in support, especially with Microsoft 365 products (Office, Teams, etc.). You have completed an IT apprenticeship or equivalent and have professional experience, mainly in first and second level support, preferably at schools or in SMEs.
