EHS Specialist (Occupational Safety & Health Specialist) (m/f/d)
In this role, you make an important contribution to a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment in our plant. You work closely with managers, teams, and the EHS, production, and engineering departments, develop effective training formats, and support the continuous development of our EHS standards.
Your tasks
- Trainings & education: Designing practical trainings, further developing learning content, conducting target group-oriented trainings, and supporting teams in implementing them in daily work.
- Strengthening safety & prevention culture: Supporting managers and employees in applying EHS standards; promoting responsibility and a sustainable safety culture.
- Risk assessments & inspections: Participating in hazard assessments, safety inspections, and checks; moderating safety dialogues and deriving appropriate measures to reduce risks.
- Hazardous substances & first aid: Coordinating the safe handling of hazardous substances, assisting in building the first aid team, and ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Environmental processes: Supporting the monitoring of processes in waste, water, and energy areas, initiating improvement measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards and legal requirements.
Your profile
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in occupational safety (AS/GS)
- Advanced training in an EHS-relevant field (e.g., occupational/organizational/personnel psychology, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, or as an ASGS specialist)
- Good knowledge of ISO standards 14001 / 45001 / 50001, risk assessments, and EHS processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, proactive and solution-oriented working style
- Ability to design trainings clearly and appealingly.
- Very good German skills (at least B2) and good English skills (at least B1).
