For our Product Configuration Management department, we are looking for a qualified and committed person for a newly created position at our location in Niederlenz (a few steps from the Lenzburg train station).

Product Configuration Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks

 

  • Administrate the product configuration-pricing-quote tool (Camos CPQ), based on Product Management and Business Unit input.
  • Establish, structure, and implement product data, including configuration rules, material costs and pricing.
  • Maintain consistent product data throughout various configuration tools in the value stream, by collaborating with Marketing, Product Line Management, Engineering, Operations and After Sales Services. 
  • Continue to develop processes, toolsets and application guidelines, to automize “end-to-end” Configure to Order process.
  • Act as key interface between Business Units, Product Management, Operations, and IT.
  • Close collaboration with IT business partners to ensure deployment and maintenance of required software applications.
  • Leading and taking part in projects within the organization.
  • Conduct training and support product data users within a global organization.
  • Additional tasks as defined by the supervisor.
 
 

Your profile

 

  • Technical background and base education, ideally in mechanical engineering or a further education degree (Bachelor / Higher Technical School) in Mechanical, Business or Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or similar, is advantageous.
  • First experience in software programming and a flair for database management.
  • Strong analytical and structural working skills, with the endurance to deliver precise and consistent output at excellent quality levels.
  • Strong organizational-, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage many responsibilities and projects at one time.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required.
  • Ability to work cohesively with all levels of internal and external customers/suppliers with possessing listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Develop a sound understanding of our internal Sales, Engineering, and Operations processes and requirements, previous benchmark knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiar with manufacturing systems, material flow, and associated processes
  • Fluent in English language at least at C1-Level and good knowledge in German language at least at B2-Level.
