Senior AI Software Developer (80 - 100%)
In our newly established Data & AI team, you will develop Java-based software components and services for AI-supported functions. In close collaboration with our Data Scientists and other development teams at DV Bern, you contribute to integrating robust and production-ready solutions into our products. You bring experience in data and AI topics and work along a modern development cycle up to successful deployment, operation, and maintenance of the software. You enjoy varied work and are also happy to take on technical leadership in individual projects.
We expect from you
- Experience in backend development and solid education in computer science (federal certificate/diploma, higher technical college, university of applied sciences, university or equivalent)
- Many years of experience in agile software development (e.g. Java EE, JavaScript, web frameworks) as well as with modern software architectures, development methods, and strategies for testing and quality assurance
- Experience in the use of LLMs and generative AI in software development
- Implementation and maintenance of complex software solutions with integrations of ML models into products and platforms
- Design and implementation of data-driven architectures, scalable APIs, and services for ML models
- German language skills at least at B2 level in spoken and written form
- Strong initiative and high willingness to learn
- Competent and efficient approach to solving challenges
