Your Tasks
- Timely, complete, and compliant coding of acute inpatient cases from all specialties.
- Participation in optimizing medical and nursing documentation with regard to completeness and accuracy.
- Support in improving coding quality.
- Participation in internal training on the DRG flat-rate system.
Your Profile
- Several years of professional experience in a medical profession, ideally with additional training (e.g., physician, intensive care, anesthesia, OR, emergency)
- Several years of practical experience in coding all medical specialties (introductory course and practical experience in medical coding are an advantage)
- Ideally, you hold the Swiss federal specialist certificate "Medical Coding"
- Independent, responsible, precise, and structured way of working
- Confident handling of MS Office, common clinical information systems, and coding tools
