We are looking for an Event Manager 100% (m/f/d) immediately or by arrangement.
What awaits you with us:
As an Event Manager, you are responsible for the implementation of unforgettable events from preparation, through execution to follow-up, ensuring a smooth process.
Event
- Responsible for the sale of the event offerings
- Responsible for service-oriented guest care during the event, including consideration of special guest requests and ensuring necessary measures
- Planning, organizing, and conducting special events as well as in-house events
- Planning and monitoring the event budget
- Leading employees and trainees in your department
Banquets/Seminars
- Advising banquet and seminar guests (menu discussions, event planning, etc.)
- Reservations and guest care before the events
- Responsible for preparing the banquet rooms
- Communication and coordination of involved internal departments and partners
- Responsible for the care and execution of individual events on site
- Follow-up including calculation and cost control as well as management of events in Opera
Controlling/Inventory
- Leading controlling for special events if needed (e.g., New Year's Eve)
- Responsible for seminar inventory
Administration
- Creation of customer offers and invoices as well as invoice processing in two languages
- Control of accounts receivable correspondence in the event area
- Regular updating of the customer database in the event area
- Assistance in creating regular reports (e.g., forecast)
- Process optimization in the event department
- Collaboration and coordination with the Sales Manager
You bring with you:
- You already have experience in the event department, hospitality, or gastronomy
- Completed vocational training / higher technical school
- All-rounder skills that you can apply in various areas
- Organized and committed working style
- Confident appearance
- Leadership experience
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Fluent German skills in speaking and writing, very good English skills; any additional foreign language is an advantage
