Your Role in that Mission:
Client Services Project Managers are members of the Distributed Team, with the authority to act, foster connections, and deliver results for clients and patients.
The Client Services Project Manager I is crucial in our Project Oversight unit, providing vital support for excellent customer service. This role involves collaborating with internal and external clients to monitor project progress daily, handling documentation, financial oversight, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients and the internal project management team to support study success.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining study filing systems and accurate records for all work undertaken.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of all activities.
- Coordinate and communicate all relevant activities to ensure services and products are ready for the start of the study or as required by the customer.
- Use appropriate project planning tools to communicate achievements and critical path activities.
- Develop and support the development of operational documentation using internal systems.
- Provide back-up support to the Project Team.
- Collect information on study invention, including label texts, packaging materials, label translation, and shipment coordination.
As Demonstrated By:
Project Management
- Understand project plans and timeline management with a proven track record for task delivery.
- Knowledge of inventory and billing principles, good documentation practices, and report generation.
- Identify and solve project obstacles in partnership with team members or management.
- Provide backup to senior Project Managers in planning and coordinating team activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain an understanding of Thermo Fisher's solutions portfolio and strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues on special projects, reports, and meeting preparation.
Technical Knowledge
- Carry out basic data analysis tasks with mentorship from senior team members.
- Record and track project data efficiently, maintaining accountability for accuracy and timeliness.
Project Management Leadership
- Seek mentorship and guidance to drive development and strengthen project management skills.
- Share information promptly, value diversity, and handle difficult situations effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Years of Experience: 2+ years of relevant client-facing work experience
