Supply Chain Due Diligence Manager

The Supply Chain Due Diligence Manager (all genders) is responsible for conducting thorough and in-depth research and analysis of our supply chain to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act LkSG (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz).

This Group function is critical to protecting the Group's reputation and complying with legal requirements related to human rights and environmental due diligence in the supply chain.

Tasks

  • Drive the design, implementation and further development of all processes for compliance in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Acts
  • Perform research and analysis of suppliers, including their labor practices, environmental impact, and compliance with laws and regulations
  • Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Work with suppliers to improve their compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders
  • Implement and monitor compliance and risk management policies and processes
  • Provide guidance and training to all internal stakeholders on Supply Chain Due Diligence Act topics

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in supply chain management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on due diligence and risk management
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Planning, organising and coordinating skills in an international environment

Preferred qualifications

  • Advances business training (NDS, CAS, MAS, MBA or EMBA)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Multilingual
