Global Clinical Excellence Specialist (f/m/d) - 9 Months

Job Purpose:

Straumann provides the opportunity for dentists to apply and expand their knowledge in implant dentistry and related treatments in a corporate environment that fosters international networking and dental education from a different perspective. The Global Clinical Excellence Specialist is part of the Clinical Team in the Global Medical Education department. He/she supports the successful enablement and visibility of evidence-based treatment approaches with predictable, long-term solutions to the benefit of the patients.

The Global Clinical Excellence Specialist acts as internal clinical case referent, supervisor and as a bridge to the external healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders. In this role he/she is instrumental in ensuring great quality of clinical case, respect of IFUs, correct messages in line with our company step-by-step procedures and workflows. This professional will work close to the product managers and T&E managers, being part of the different core teams and involved in the most relevant Medical Education Excellence customer facing projects.

Main Tasks:

Clinical Content

  • Identify & collect best practices using Straumann solutions with predictable and stable treatment outcomes.
  • Select the most representative clinical cases and make follow-ups.
  • Integrate both Straumann & ITI educational resources as support.
  • Collect both patient & clinician testimonials, and foremost steps followed to obtain predictable treatment solutions.
  • Represent educational material and patient’s journey in a video format (Straumann PLAY).
  • Be part of the Core Team of the Registry Project (endorsed by the EMB) to onboard new members, enroll GPs to the project, support the early adopters in order to create a successful roll-out.
  • Track global clinical content published in all Straumann platforms.

CoDE editorial plan & homepage:

  • Maintain CoDE homepage updated linked to the clinical content, available courses & information about the Centers of Dental Education.
  • Follow the CoDE Editorial plan and support the implementation of new clinical content in alignment with CCS, SDIS & Implant Registry projects’ responsibles.
  • CoDE case reports: ensure the high-quality content following youTooth guidelines and instruction for use (IFU).
  • Review the 60 seconds, interview videos and webinars that comprise relevant information and education for the dental community.
  • Coordinate the promotion of all new content on social media channels using the designated templates.

Clinical support and advisory:

  • Onboarding the experts regarding the workflows, participating in a series of surgeries supporting the experts regarding the compliant first use and workflow to ensure documentation for future publications and relationship management for future steps.
  • Supporting from a clinical perspective the educators/content creators on developing/reviewing/approving training concepts, learning modules, trainings packages, demo hands-on material, videos, animations, patient education materials and others.
  • Creating diverse training material (decks with or without voice over, animation story-boards, videos) for customer facing activities.
  • Clinical reviewer for the Key Opinion Leaders presentations, testimonials, videos and others regarding the compliant product usage.
  • Being present in the different launch events presentation for hands-on conduction.
  • Acting as a customer sounding board for the respective product or solution in regards to workflow troubleshoot/failures helpdesk being the first support for the counterparts in the subsidiaries.
  • Implementation at a global level and support the subsidiaries on local implementation through the creation of blueprints, templates, and exchange of best practice.
  • Measuring the impact of the activities through voice of customer collection, customer behavior changes, and satisfaction surveys using the established tools in the company.

Profile:

Education / Professional Experience

  • Dentist with proven experience working with patients.
  • Specialized in Implant Dentistry/Periodontology or demonstrate solid knowledge in Implantology and related treatments.
  • Experience in the preparation of clinical case reports.
  • Preferred experience in medical device industry in education and/or marketing and/or product development / product management roles in an international organisation (at least 1/2 years).
  • Preferred experience in relationship management and engaging with senior executives and industry leaders/experts.
  • Be familiarized with the ITI community and its educational resources- experience as an ITI scholar is an asset.
  • Competent and confident working with online-based applications and MS Office programs (Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Fluency in English is a must; any other language is an asset.
