Your Challenge

• Hands-on lab work in close collaboration with our existing team of cell biologists
• Generation of monoclonal genetically engineered cell lines
• Support of the cell culture maintenance for stock cells as well as project clones
• Characterization of genomic alterations using molecular biology approaches
• Ensuring smooth running of our daily operations at the biology lab
• Ordering and refilling of consumables
• Keep the laboratory environment and all devices clean according to biosafety standards

Your Profile

• Apprenticeship as laboratory technician with specialization in biology or alternatively a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cell or molecular biology or similar
• At least 1 year of industry experience is a must-have criteria
• Proficient in mammalian cell culture (worked with at least 4 different cell lines)
• Familiar with or eager to learn basic molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR and DNA gel electrophoresis)
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices procedures
• Experience in working with electronic lab journals is a plus
• Very good English skills
• A team-oriented mindset
• Independent and diligent work attitude with a talent for organizational tasks
