To support our Specialty Batteries team, we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains for an:

Electronic Engineer

Purpose

Your mission is to support our Specialty Battery Engineering team in the development and the support of battery management systems. We are looking for an experimented and versatile engineer in electronics being proficient in hardware design and experimented in software programming. The selected candidate should be focus on the product success and it will be involved from the product development to the product end of life.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and validate battery management system though requirement definitions, analyses and testing
  • PCB Routing and schematic with Altium Dynamics
  • Establish feasibility study to produce at best cost and quality
  • Participate to design reviews of products
  • Update and maintain current products
  • Diagnosing and solving electrical problems within battery systems
  • Programming automatic test for battery cycling
  • Realize and test battery prototypes
  • Debugging and troubleshooting battery system
  • Create, update, manage or participate to the establishment of documents during development and ramp-up phase (PFMEA, control plans, manufacturing process flows, routine tests procedures, labelling and packaging procedures, technical specifications, …)
  • Other activities on request

Skills & Experience

  • Electronics engineer HES with additional training in industrial design
  • In-depth knowledge in hardware design
  • Proficient in Altium Dynamics
  • Experience in battery design is an asset
