For the Radionuclide Development group, of the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences we are looking for a
Chemical Technician
Your tasks
Your area of responsibility includes learning and performing chemical separation methods, as well as device maintenance and laboratory management. A central part of the work will be assistance in the production and upscaling terbium-161, a novel therapeutic radionuclide currently being prepared for early-phase clinical trials. Development thereof includes engineering and automation. Analytical knowledge (e.g., HPLC, UV, ICP) is vital.
Your profile
You have a college/university degree in chemistry, as well as related work experience. Interest in research and development, the involvement of running a laboratory and passion for science are important to us. You are flexible, versatile and highly motivated to work on competitive projects. You are reliable and will do your job as part of an existing team. You are willing to work in an environment where ionizing radiation is present. You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and are computer literate.
