PMO Manager

The PMO manager oversees IT projects and ensures that they are completed on time and within budget by upholding the company’s standards throughout each project’s development and execution. She/he develops and optimizes project management processes and works across our different departments to coach and provide support to other Project Managers running IT projects.

Your tasks

 


  • Monitor, develop, improve and implement project management standards, policies, procedures, KPIs and templates

  • Draft new and improve existing project governance processes

  • Onboard, coach and train other IT Project Managers

  • Support project owners and project managers in the proper definition of new project charters including project plan, budget and resource plan

  • Oversee the development of IT projects and ensure that project managers are carrying out their tasks efficiently

  • Continuously evaluate IT projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines

  • Support projects in administrative tasks like cost controlling, budget management, vendor relationship management, etc.

  • Collect and report monthly project status updates to management

  • Successfully run projects for department

Your profile

 


  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, IT or a related field

  • Project management education or certificate (i.e. PMP, Prince2, Agile Project Management, etc.)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or PMO function

  • Experience in IT projects (i.e. software, network & hardware rollouts)

  • Strong attention to details and organizational skills

  • Strong ability to influence and motivate others, as well as work in teams

  • Assertive and able to present ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience in preparing and conducting Project Management training is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with a strong client and service focus

  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German language is a plus
