The «Medical Advisor Cardiometabolic» is responsible for planning and executing medical and scientific activities in line with the medical strategy within endocrinology, obesity, hepatology, and primary care. This individual will work closely with the medical cardiovascular unit and cross-functional teams. The role requires a solid scientific background, proactive engagement, and a commercial partnership mindset.
Your main tasks
- Implementing the medical affairs strategy
- Executing a tactical plan that aligns with the cardiometabolic medical affairs strategy
- Facilitating the development of symposia/meetings, or educational events for HCP’s
- Developing and disseminating scientific communications, including publications and presentations
- Planning and executing (real-world) evidence generation activities and other research
- Developing and delivering medical education and training programs for internal and external stakeholders
- Providing scientific input for the creation and implementation of digital roadmaps and activities
- Reviewing promotional materials with local requirements and legislation
- Proactively contributing to enhance and uphold internal scientific knowledge within own medical team
- Support with preparation, signature tracking, and archiving of engagement contracts
- Assist with invoice processing and coordination
- Help update and create promotional marketing materials
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems
- Provide ad-hoc support for marketing campaigns and projects
- Coordinate with various internal teams for approvals and information flow
- Assist in organizing files, presentations, and other marketing assets
- Collaborating closely with marketing team to support affiliate strategy
- Providing input on and clearing promotional materials
- Providing input to marketing and sales projects where needed
Your profile
- University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or Natural Sciences; PhD preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs roles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Good communication skills in German and English are a must, French and/or Italian would be a plus
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
