The main purpose of this role is managing the Master Data in the ERP system for the manufacturing company of Johnson Electric in Murten (Switzerland). Furthermore, organizing samplings according to the needs and available resources and managing the stock of samples, and support placing the indirect PO for C&S (Component & Services) suppliers.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Input the Master Data in the ERP system for new articles (currently in Movex, in the future in Oracle).

  • Creating and updating the BOM of the components and products located in Murten to make sure it is always reflecting reality

  • Provide support to logistic team to ensure the success of the yearly inventory

  • Organize the planning of the samplings in Murten (on injection and stamping departments) according to the needs of our internal customer and the available resources

  • Manage the ordering and the stock of sample raw material, as well as the produced samples and create of the measurement request

  • Support the deployment of Murten standards and skills throughout Europe sites

  • Support the creation of indirect PO to C&S (Component & Services) suppliers, support the ordering of material for C&S employees and organize the weekly C&S tour

  • Optimize operations, routines, tasks organization and timings

  • Identify the possibilities to improve current processes and support the continuous improvement (Genba Kaizen, 5S, AMS etc.)

Our requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience from similar industrial environment

  • University degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Industrial Engineering)           

  • Fluency in English AND in French/German                                             

  • Ability to prioritize between projects and tasks

  • Autonomous, organized, polyvalent and motivated personality
