Job Description

Join our Group Accounting team in this exciting role as ESG Reporting Manager. We have big goals and want to go public in the medium term. To support this challenge, we are currently seeking an Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Reporting Manager. 

In this role you will focus on 3 areas:

  • Lead the preparation of external annual ESG reports and responses to ESG data information requests from external and internal stakeholders such as rating agencies and investors
  • Oversee the annual ESG data collection process, ensuring that data is timely and accurate. Continuously improves the ESG reporting internal control environment to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely ESG information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes
  • Identify, advise on and implement new ESG reporting and disclosure practices, based on a deep understanding of requirements from regulators, investors/lenders and sustainability actors
     

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis and interpretation of ESG related data, providing insights to inform decision making and strategy development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, specially with the Head of Corporate Sustainability to provide advice on integrating ESG considerations into decision-making processes and provide training and guidance on ESG principles and reporting practice
  • Reporting & Disclosure: Prepare consolidated ESG data for disclosure for internal stakeholders, and external parties, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with, for instance, GRI, TCFD, and GHG protocol. Be overall and ultimately responsible for the ESG report
  • Performance Monitoring: Assist in establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to track progress towards ESG goals, regularly evaluate performance and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Continuous improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives related to ESG data collection and performance, seeking solutions to enhance processes and data for disclosure
Qualifications

If you are curious to learn new things and have an optimistic attitude with a «can-do» mentality, you have an important element already fulfilled. In addition, you should also bring the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, sustainability, or a related field
  • Prior experience in ESG management, sustainability reporting, or corporate governance, preferably within the software/technology sector. 
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines (e.g. GRI, GHG protocol, TCFD)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data effectively
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility
  • Ability to work with various digital tools
  • Ability to work holistically with a diverse set of stakeholder groups across all levels of the organisation
