This position is based in Zurich and reports to the Lufthansa Group Head of Distribution Application and Tech. Provider Management. The team is responsible for the global roll-out of direct distribution solutions with purchase points and technology partners for Lufthansa Group.

The team is managing the relationship to technology providers in the field of distribution as well as managing the global market pipeline for new implementations. In line with the LHG Airline Retailing strategy the team is driving projects to foster LHGs leadership in New Distribution Capabilities.

• Managing the global market pipeline of direct distribution solutions implementations e.g. NDC API connections with purchase points and technology partners
• Identify new partnership opportunities within the Airline Retailing ecosystem based on market developments and customer insights
• Technical Key Account management for global Aggregators (e.g. Travelfusion, Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), system providers and travel technology providers
• Active management of provider portfolio to maintain a strong provider landscape and to ensure maximum and efficient reach of LHG offers in 3rd party channels
• Support purchase points and aggregators to continuously enhance their connection to the LHG NDC API to improve product display and functional capabilities
• Project management for strategic projects

• 5 years of job experience in Business / IT alignment, project management and/or Key Account Management
• Significant experience in commercial / customer airline functions
• Knowledge and experience with Travel Distribution Eco System or Airline Retailing is an asset
• Proven track record in larger-scale project management
• Experience in partner management, negotiation, process-orientation, structural analysis
• Strong analytical & communication skills
• Clear ability and willingness to work across functional lines
• Strongly developed sense of responsibility, high level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Fluent spoken and written English skills, German is an asset
