We're seeking a

Country Manager for the Brazil Starbucks Farmer Support Center (FSC)

based in Varginha, Minas Gerais.  

As a country manager, you will… 

lead a high-performance team aligned with Starbucks values, providing strategic guidance, resource management and delivering high impact for coffee farmers & suppliers in our C.A.F.E practices supply chains. This role involves collaboration across the organization and with external partners to ensure the FSC’s success. The Country Manager will be directly responsible for managing Starbucks' sustainability and social impact programs in Brazil, while adhering to our mission and Starbucks promises.

  • Change management: Ability to work in a changing environment and deal with ambiguity. 


Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or management (master’s preferred). 

  • At least 6 years of leadership experience with a proven track record in a complex environment. 

  • Expertise in coffee agriculture, supply chain management, sustainability, or related fields. 

  • Experience with agricultural sustainability certifications is preferred. 

  • History of promoting sustainable and ethical farming practices. 

  • Good understanding of agricultural regulations, policies, and procedures in Brazil; coffee knowledge preferred. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships. 

  • Collaborative leadership to align initiatives with business objectives. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Proficiency in English & Portuguese languages required. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word).
