PLC Software Developer (m/f/d) (Automation, Mechanical Engineering, German)

Main tasks:

  • Creating PLC software for controlling machines.
  • Designing and analyzing machine processes, including the use of servo motors.
  • Implementing advanced control technologies in various facilities.
  • Developing applications for small series and specialized machines.
  • Establishing and maintaining standardized control technology processes.
  • Performing integration and system tests.
  • Preparing technical documentation and operating manuals.
  • Conducting technical training sessions.

  • Completed vocational training in automation technology or a comparable qualification.
  • Further education in automation/electrical engineering at a higher technical school/university of applied sciences level or a degree in automation, electrical, or systems engineering.
  • Extensive professional experience in automation as well as in machine and plant engineering.
  • Excellent programming skills in Structured Text (IEC61131) or C, ideally with experience using B&R or Beckhoff controls.
  • Good language skills in German and English. (Compulsory)
  • Self-motivation and an innovative approach to work with efficient, independent problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues.
