The opportunity
Join our Service unit at Hitachi Energy, renowned worldwide for power transmission and distribution. Our Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after-sales support of Traction transformers and Power transformers, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits, and replacements.
In this challenging role, you will manage the entire end-to-end process of our projects and confidently represent the company's interests towards our customers. We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience in Project Management, who is motivated to plan, manage, and control project activities with a hands-on approach and international exposure.
How you’ll make an impact

Execute diverse projects successfully from handover by the sales department to completion of site works or in-house repair work

Coordinate the project team, ensuring each member completes assigned tasks according to the project plan

Define and manage all project milestones, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery

Proactively report deviations to management and initiate corrective actions

Ensure customer satisfaction through open and proactive communication

Manage changes in scope of delivery, seeking opportunities to increase revenue and margin while reducing project risks

Achieve project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements

Share knowledge, success stories, and learnings with the team, and lead continuous improvement actions
Your background
-
Technical master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

3 – 5 years of experience in project management; PM certification is beneficial

Positive mindset and constructive approach to complex or urgent challenges

Business fluent in English and French; German or other languages are a plus

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP is ideal
