Danobat Switzerland AG is a newly founded Swiss subsidiary of Danobat, headquartered in Elgoibar, Spain, which is a world leader in the field of precision hard turning and grinding. Since its foundation, Danobat Switzerland AG has focussed on the development of precision robots for industrial use. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly qualified mechanical engineer (m/w/d) who will contribute to further advancing our technological solutions.
Tasks:
development, design or optimization of robot structures and high-complexity components, drive trains as well as motor and gearbox test benches utilizing CAD software (PTC Creo)
carrying out calculations, FEM simulations and analyses to evaluate products and processes.
support the fabrication and testing of prototypes and conduct basic tests and experiments to validate design concepts and troubleshoot issues.
collaborate closely with other engineers and specialists to solve technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
preparing technical documentation, reports and presentations.
participate in internal and external meetings to coordinate projects and further develop technologies.
international travel (up to 5-10%).
Requirements:
hold a Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience
demonstrated ability in mechanical design with knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques
good knowledge of CAD tools for 3D mechanical design, modelling and 2D drawing
good communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable way
have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
have enthusiasm for problem-solving and creative thinking
team player with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, international teams
are eager to further develop technical skills and advance your engineering career
in addition to English, Spanish and/or German is a plus
must be eligible to work in Switzerland on a full-time basis
Additional Desired Experience
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation (static and dynamic finite element method)
