Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Osteosynthese, auch AO Foundation genannt, ist eine medizinische Stiftung, geführt von einer internationalen Gruppe von Ärzten und Chirurgen, die auf die Behandlung von Trauma und Muskel-Skelett Störungen spezialisiert ist. 1958 in Biel von 13 Schweizer Ärzten gegründet, ist die AO Foundation heute eines der grössten medizinischen Netzwerke mit mehr als 16’000 Chirurgen und medizinischem Personal aus rund 100 Ländern.
