The Role:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Head of Growth, Sarah Dominey during the critical phase of building and shaping our new Senior Living company. This is a unique chance to be involved from the start and make a big impact on the company's development.

This opportunity is for a 6 month, full-time paid internship which has the potential to evolve into a full time position and an integral part of the Mana team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Acquisitions support: working closely with the property team to source, analyse, negotiate and acquire new real estate deals


• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities


• Support Due Diligence processes: Undertake market analyses site inspections, development appraisals, legal, technical and planning due diligence


• Gathering and disseminating information across the business as needed


• Managing due diligence processes and all stakeholders through the transaction process, including reporting


• Investment Memorandum (IM) creation and presentation support: Draft bids, acquisition IMs, and board packs for approval


• Market analysis and strategy: researching current as well as additional markets, assessing their potential.


• Network building: Develop and nurture strong relationships and networks of stakeholders including agents, landlords, investors, local authorities and developers


• Communicate expectations, requirements and status of deals to key partners – both internal and external


• Support in stakeholder management and reporting: Be a key part in the communication to and management of all stakeholders including the investors, partners, and colleagues


• Process Optimization and Creation: Enhance current processes and establish new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in real estate or business / finance/ economics with interest or experience in real estate


• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience


• Analytical with good financial modelling skills and understanding of financial analysis techniques (Excel, Google Sheets). Experience with development appraisals is highly valued


• Investigative approach to market research


• Strong networking and relationship building skills


• Brings value to real estate deal negotiations


• Interested in disrupting the area of Longevity, Real Estate, Hospitality, technology


• Organised and structured, works well with processes


• Excellent communication skills across a variety of stakeholders and cultures


• Ability to consider the bigger picture whilst focusing on the detail


• Proactive: A self-starting drive to succeed, a get up and go attitude


• Initiative, a strong work ethic, and an ability to make things happen


• The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines


• The ideal candidate speaks fluent English and German. Other European languages are a strong advantage
