Our client is seeking an Associate to join their dynamic team!

Our client is a prominent law firm based in Zurich, specializing in comprehensive legal services across various sectors. They are dedicated to advising both domestic and international clients, including businesses, entrepreneurs, and private individuals. With a strong focus on commercial law, they excel in litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, ensuring their clients receive expert legal representation and tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.

As an Associate you will be expected to manage a diverse caseload under the supervision of Senior Associates and Partners.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys and partners
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer legal advice
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and negotiations
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas
• Maintain organized case files and documentation, track billable hours, and meet firm requirements

To be successful as an Associate you will would have completed your studies recently or have 2-3 years of experience post qualification.

Your qualifications:

• You are admitted to the Swiss bar or authorized to practice law in an EU member state, with strong legal expertise.
• Work experience in the focus areas or relevant additional training (e.g., LL.M.) is a plus.
• You are reliable, solution-oriented, empathetic, and enjoy working on complex issues and taking on responsibility.
• Your written and spoken German is excellent. Very good knowledge of English and other language skills are an advantage.
