Are you an amazing sales person? Join European Maritime Finance and become a part of our team . As a Sales Associate you are responsible for supporting the COO/Sales Department in acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients and will be mainly focused on contacting prospects and raising funds to reach annual sales goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue potential clients using various sales strategies. Mainly through phone calls (prospect), mailings, meetings and conferences (Switzerland and abroad). 
  • Client Retention: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market conditions and investment opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of financial products and services offered.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the investment team to align sales strategies with client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field or higher banking apprenticeship.
  • Or proven experience in sales (min 3 years) , preferably in the financial services industry, insurance, fundraising or B2B sales. 
  • Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and or similar

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • German and English speaking, other language a plus
  • Swiss citizen or valid work permit 
  • Clean criminal record
