Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.

Job Description

• You will be part of an interdisciplinary Purpose team (product segments: Circular Saw blades and Routerbits)
• You provide consistent information on product quality and cooperate closely with other functions
• You are responsible for all product quality related tasks during the product life cycle (from idea till discontinuance)
• You drive deviation management, e.g. concessions, problem solving, 8D reports (or equivalent) with relevance for the product
• You are responsible for tracking and analysis of customer complaints worldwide
• You drive solutions for sustainable product quality improvements in cooperation with purchasing quality and engineering

Qualifications

Education: Mechanical engineering studies (e.g. Bachelor of Science) or similar background

Knowledge: Functional cause-effect relationships, manufacturing and measurement technologies with Quality methodologies, including FMEAs risks assessments. Problem solving, statistical test planning and evaluation as well as product development processes

Personality and way of working: High sense of responsibility, acts on own initiative,
team player with the ability to think as an entrepreneur

Enthusiasm: Interest in consumer goods and worldwide markets and in the safety, legal and quality requirements, applicable product standards worldwide, e.g. DIN, EN, ISO, ANSI, ...

Language: Fluent in English, German and Italian is an asset
