ABOUT THE ROLE

Mobile Equipment Operator - Level II position is a key positon transporting materials terials throughout the quarry into piles, trucks or crushers, depending upon production/shipping requirements.

The Operators will maintain the following work schedule, Monday - Friday two week rotation (6:00am - 4:30pm then changing to 4:00pm to 2:30am).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.
• Do any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.
• Primary operations of front end loaders (993s, 992s, 988s, 980s, etc.), dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators and skid steer loaders
• Depending upon quarry operational requirements, operating mobile equipment to include, but not limited to front end loaders (993s, 992s, 980s, etc.), haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders.
• Taking accurate and reliable counts of material additions as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to learn stockpile and plant flow
• Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
• This job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work. Employee may have work schedule adjusted on short notice.
