In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the Business Process Digitization and Automation workstream, leveraging the Appian platform to create efficient and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian platform to automate and optimize business processes and workflows
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Appian RPA Integration: Build, test, and deploy Appian applications, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes, to enhance operational efficiency
- Customization & Integration: Customize and configure Appian interfaces, user experiences, and integrations with other systems as needed
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, including design architecture and technical specifications
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Appian applications to ensure seamless and reliable performance
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Appian development trends and best practices, contributing innovative ideas to improve our solutions
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Appian Expertise: Proven experience with the Appian platform, showcasing a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in designing and implementing Appian applications, including process models, user interfaces, and integrations
- Strong proficiency in Java for developing custom Appian plugins and supporting Appian RPA processes
- Familiarity with database technologies and the ability to design and optimize data models for Appian applications
- Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) concepts and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) principles
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Organization: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Certifications: Appian certifications demonstrating advanced expertise with the platform.
- Integration Skills: Knowledge of web services and API integrations
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Security: Understanding of security best practices in Appian development
- DevOps: Knowledge of DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Microsoft 365 Suite: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
