For our client, a leading company in the consumer goods industry in Zurich, we are currently looking for a skilled SAP specialist to support the supply chain team during the implementation of SAP S4 Hana in the area of warehousing and packaging (3PL). Only candidates who can start within 4 weeks can be considered, since SAP S4 Hana is supposed to go live in November. Extension might be possible, since there might be further need for SAP expertise after the start as well.

Description

As the 3PL and Co-Pack Specialist you will be reporting directly to the Plan & Deliver Manager. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to manage the daily operational aspects of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and co-packing activities in order to optimize supply chain efficiency while maintaining a high standard of quality

The Warehouse & Packaging Specialist will be responsible for the following task area:

• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Inform all stakeholders about any potential transportation or logistics-related issues and proactively propose solutions/corrective actions to minimize disruptions
• Coordinate with co-packaging partners to align production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory requirements
• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and co-packing operations for the 3PL and Co-Pack Coordinator's review
• Participate in SAP implementation project and cross-functional discussions to help implement SAP S4/Hana

Profile

In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

• Proven experience in coordinating logistics and/or co-packing activities, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry
• Solid Know-How in SAP, MRP and Materials Handling
• Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle unexpected challenges in the supply chain.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), German is a strong asset
