The Environmental Test Laboratory offers test campaigns for Aerospace and Industrial customers, typically for development, qualification or acceptance testing. Test articles range from individual components to complete products, and include rocket parts, satellite mechanisms and sometimes even an entire satellite.

Your mission

  • Planning, preparation, and performance of environmental simulation tests for internal and external customers, including writing of test reports.
  • Operation of the test facilities (Vibration, Shock, Pyroshock, Centrifuge, Temperature and Climatic Chambers)
  • Preparation and performance of specific measurement tasks on environmental, separation and static tests (Acceleration, Material strains, Load and Distance Measurement, Trajectory Determination with High-speed Video, etc.)
  • Advising customers on the feasibility of planned test activities and development of test profiles together with the customers
  • Post-processing of measurement data and visual presentation of test results
  • Organization and performance of maintenance and repairs of test facilities, measurement equipment and sensors (e.g., calibration)

Your story

  • Degree in Mech. or Electr. Engineering or Certified Technician (TS/HF)
  • Completed Vocational Education of advantage or emphasis for craftmanship work
  • Practical experience in testing, research, and development of advantage
  • Basic knowledge in measurement technique, electronics/control technique and physics
  • Conception of tidiness, knowledge of 5S concept of advantage
  • Fluent German and English (B2) speaking and writing, French of advantage
  • Readiness to travel internationally (Europe, USA)
  • Delighted by contact with the customer, open personality, and team ability
