You will be joining the Roche Healthcare Consulting team within the Global Marketing & Customer Insights organisation. We are an agile, multi-disciplined team of consultants working at the centre of the business focused on driving healthcare transformation at scale. We design and deliver high profile projects with internal partners, including product lifecycle managers, sales and consulting leaders within Roche affiliates, and external partners, including clinical and laboratory leaders in health systems worldwide. These projects range from supporting the global adoption and implementation of new clinical pathways, delivering strategic insights to health care providers to understand how to improve the productivity and quality of care for patients, and providing economic evidence which help Roche and our customers understand the value and impact of innovations.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, with attendance onsite2-3 days per week (hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and developing quantitative analysis to understand the opportunities and impacts of adopting healthcare innovation;

  • Building scalable tools which support the business to communicate the value of solutions;

  • Collaborating with a range of stakeholders (from designers, software engineers, Marketing & Customer insights teams) to build best-in-class consulting solutions.

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Economics, Health Economics, Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or Operational Research within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a competitive, results-oriented environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore, you are:

  • A curious and enthusiastic learner. You will work on projects which involve exciting innovations across healthcare. As each challenge will be different, a curiosity to understand the impacts that these innovations have across all internal and external stakeholders is a must.

  • Keen to get stuck into the work and develop yourself as an economist. You will develop both soft and hard skills throughout the internship, and will be supported to do this by the team and organisation, who will help to ensure that you have access to the right tools for the right job. We also welcome new ideas around new ways of working and will encourage you to bring suggestions on how we can improve how we deliver on our mission of “doing now what patients need next”.

  • A great communicator. You will be empowered and supported to lead the development of analysis with a huge variety of stakeholders globally who will look towards you as an expert in Economics. Communicating your perspectives and work will be at least as important as the technical solutions you create.
